I...Sorry to bother you with this simple question... I got the kernel named: "tx-vanilla-kernel.tgz" uncompress, took the root from the link as "OpenMoko-openmoko-devel-image-glibc-ipk-P1-September-Snapshot-20070912-palmtx.rootfs.ext2" and rename it as "rootfs.ext2" in the linux folder, but when I try to load cocoboot I got a message "No root filesystem found!" tried to rename the others "initrd.cram.gz" and "initrd.squash.gz" and didn't work either, also changed the ROOT value in "linux.boot.cfg" but had no luck, can you point me in the right direction please? I managed to run Opie, but I want to try openmoko... thx for your help.Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17985383212473053331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-28929677704105316902009-07-23T20:23:29.674+02:002009-07-23T20:23:29.674+02:00I did what you suggested, but now i am stuck at th...I did what you suggested, but now i am stuck at the final 'make fso-milestone5.5-image' Can you please tell me what the correct 'make image' line is?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05422079833063985981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-72427885430844290292009-07-23T20:23:01.351+02:002009-07-23T20:23:01.351+02:00I did what you suggested, but now i am stuck at th...I did what you suggested, but now i am stuck at the final 'make fso-milestone5.5-image' Can you please tell me what the correct 'make image' line is?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05422079833063985981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-50804244881383127052008-05-24T07:24:00.000+02:002008-05-24T07:24:00.000+02:00the image is a 2007.2 one. You can also build a qtopia image with OpenEmbedded or the MokoMakefile.

:zefanja:zefanjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17117301178740473344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-17824143768546093562008-05-23T14:00:00.000+02:002008-05-23T14:00:00.000+02:00this is very nice thanks zefanja :Di would like to...this is very nice thanks zefanja :D

i would like to try openmoko 2007.2 image on my tx but i dont have a linux machine

could you upload it (i think you uploaded the 2007.1) please?

thanks again for the tutorial zefanjanacknackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01817084825243425125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-71116457032612037642008-05-06T21:03:00.000+02:002008-05-06T21:03:00.000+02:00ok...some people ask for a more detailed guide: I ...ok...some people ask for a more detailed guide: I think the guide is clear enough.

Download the tx-kernel from the first link and then build your own rootfs with the MokoMakefile or download the image I build (its from Sep 2007). To do Step 3 you need a ssh connection to your TX. Search "usb networking" in wiki.openmoko.org. Run Step 4 your linux terminal.

Openmoko on TX is slow, maybe very slow.

zefanjazefanjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17117301178740473344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-28637310553082805622008-04-24T22:54:00.000+02:002008-04-24T22:54:00.000+02:00Hi, I Want to install it on my PALM TX, but, i nee...Hi, I Want to install it on my PALM TX, but, i need more clear instructions. if some one can email me some instructions y will be very thankfull.
my email is: leo.ucciferri@gmal.com and my blog is http:\\palmfan.blogspot.com

Thanks of another Palm Os coperation.:Leo:.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15233278040359733071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-63166093453242229602008-04-18T13:16:00.001+02:002008-04-18T13:16:00.001+02:00So this is a quick guide, is there a Long guide ea...So this is a quick guide, is there a Long guide easy to understand?
This would be pretty smoking cool if I could get it working.

Could you either make a guide or email me all the created files (Swap files and such) and a quick guide?
ThanksApheoXAIOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359480146921012902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-34371582910025588712008-04-18T13:16:00.000+02:002008-04-18T13:16:00.000+02:00So this is a quick guide, is there a Long guide ea...So this is a quick guide, is there a Long guide easy to understand?
This would be pretty smoking cool if I could get it working.

Could you either make a guide or email me all the created files (Swap files and such) and a quick guide?
ThanksApheoXAIOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01359480146921012902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-7550309196411892322008-03-31T02:04:00.000+02:002008-03-31T02:04:00.000+02:00Please, can you emial me the instructions step by ...Please, can you emial me the instructions step by step??

I have the TX and my notebook with Win Vista, i need to install linux in my notebook????

Thanks!!!!Luis Hermosillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06327521132334896258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-26152296397662918682008-02-27T15:08:00.000+01:002008-02-27T15:08:00.000+01:00Dieser Kommentar wurde vom Autor entfernt.Andy Damhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04302880520763163193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-71986481245855466002007-10-07T21:16:00.000+02:002007-10-07T21:16:00.000+02:00Schau mal: http://blog.mikeasoft.com/2007/07/01/op...Schau mal: http://blog.mikeasoft.com/2007/07/01/openmoko-on-a-treo-650/
Die GSM Unterstützung wird wohl meiner Meinung nach für immer auf sich warten lassen.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00747156195985802112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181166411045344093.post-32352167673673304392007-10-04T18:22:00.000+02:002007-10-04T18:22:00.000+02:00I put link to this instructions to my blog: http:/...I put link to this instructions to my blog: http://whiter4bbit-ru.blogger.com, if you disagree with it, ask to me, then I remove this post from my blogwhiter4bbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15366411428666231704noreply@blogger.com
